"Cô gái; cô ..." (じょう) — hậu tố kính xưng cũ: 「山田嬢」 — cô Yamada; 「お嬢さん」 — con gái (người khác), tiểu thư. Chỉ nghề: 「受付嬢」 — cô lễ tân. Lưu ý một số cách dùng có thể bị xem là lỗi thời.
